Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Santana Serra made the kick off in the second half. Trond Bugten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bent Gangstad in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bjørn Ophaug in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ragnar Løset prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rasmus Voll took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ragnar Løset. Warrior FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bent Gangstad got free with Trond Bugten in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ragnar Løset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bjørn Ophaug's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Rune Heltne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ragnar Løset. Warrior FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute Santana Serra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Bugten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bjørn Ophaug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cato Grønvik came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Warrior FC fans jumped to their feet. One of Tennes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Warrior FC:s goal. Cato Grønvik walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ragnar Løset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Sævareid in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Warrior FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
