Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tension's Yngvar Størksen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yngvar Størksen struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Markus Lilleng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tension. Markus Lilleng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnt Østgaard in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Apoca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yngvar Størksen came free, but Markus Lilleng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yngvar Størksen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Lilleng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Apoca FC! Markus Lilleng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yngvar Størksen's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Arne Hveding got free with Markus Lilleng in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Lilleng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håvard Sæbø went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Markus Lilleng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yngvar Størksen's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Yngvar Størksen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tension's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yngvar Størksen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yngvar Størksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Lilleng having to interfere. If Yngvar Størksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Audun Stensrud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arnt Østgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Lilleng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Arne Hveding, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngvar Størksen in the 59th minute of play forced Apoca FC's goalkeeper Markus Lilleng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Jan-Arne Hveding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apoca FC's Markus Lilleng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Apoca FC's Richard Rostad got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Tension's Ferdinand Nystad broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars-Olav Hotvedt during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Apoca FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lars-Olav Hotvedt hit a great ball. Markus Lilleng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngvar Størksen in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Apoca FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Audun Stensrud hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes, Tension's Ferdinand Nystad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Markus Lilleng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tension reached it. Yngvar Størksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Yngvar Størksen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Tension were the better team. Tension's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
