Daniel Lysgård's late challenge caught a Tension's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geir Solås dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 91st minute, Tension's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Åge Brænden fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan-Arne Hveding scored 1-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sever Mandache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Galatasaray players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
