The referee showed Audun Stensrud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Audun Stensrud kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, kartal's Hans-Petter Mahmood broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nils-Johan Arvesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Lilleng having to interfere. Richard Nicolaisen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Markus Lilleng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Lilleng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Nicolaisen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. kartal's Nils-Johan Arvesen got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Richard Nicolaisen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. kartal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Nicolaisen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Richard Nicolaisen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Markus Lilleng, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Audun Stensrud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apoca FC's goalkeeper Markus Lilleng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Markus Lilleng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Petter Stange in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Nils-Johan Arvesen made a precise shot to the right of Markus Lilleng. Apoca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Nicolaisen in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Lilleng saved Apoca FC from getting behind. Nils-Johan Arvesen took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Lilleng. Markus Lilleng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Nils-Johan Arvesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. kartal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
