Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cato Brunborg got the match started through his kick off. Jo Grøndahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cato Brunborg in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Tim Refsland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dybvåg and the Rekvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rekvik booed when Dybvåg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Refsland didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Dybvåg's Jo Grøndahl got control of the ball when Henrik Buvik tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alex Ophus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cato Brunborg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jo Grøndahl made a huge save. Cato Brunborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Grøndahl having to interfere. When Daniel Flo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Dybvåg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Flo couldn't finish the play. Jo Grøndahl made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Henrik Buvik sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Cato Brunborg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jo Grøndahl, 1-0. If Cato Brunborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 42nd minute of the match Tim Refsland completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tim Refsland a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Daniel Flo made the kick off in the second half. Ståle Ervik made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Flo sent off a good shot on target. Cato Brunborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jo Grøndahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Cato Brunborg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Buvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jo Grøndahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rekvik's Henrik Buvik got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Cato Brunborg made a precise shot to the right of Jo Grøndahl. Dybvåg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Buvik in the 90th minute of play forced Dybvåg's goalkeeper Jo Grøndahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Rekvik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
