Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mikkel Bremnes got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Brimnes BK booed when Russehamn BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Sætren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ludvig Sikveland came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Brimnes BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludvig Sikveland couldn't finish the play. Finn Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jostein Skauge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Brimnes BK got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Bruland. Russehamn BF's Jostein Skauge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn Lundberg in the 17th minute of play. Sebastian Melbye stood somewhat misplaced when Mikkel Bremnes came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Ludvig Sikveland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jostein Skauge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Melbye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Østerhus in the 29th minute. Ludvig Sikveland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brimnes BK's Ludvig Sikveland in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Russehamn BF's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Finn Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brimnes BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Finn Lundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Finn Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludvig Sikveland to strike the kick off in the second half. Jostein Skauge stood somewhat misplaced when Ludvig Sikveland came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 62 minute. In the 66th minute, Brimnes BK's Ludvig Sikveland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jostein Skauge. Jostein Skauge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Brimnes BK's Finn Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jostein Skauge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Sikveland in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Brimnes BK's zone, Leon Østerhus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Melbye came out of the goal and Leon Østerhus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludvig Sikveland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reidar Hanssen fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Russehamn BF's protests and gave Reidar Hanssen a yellow card for diving instead. Reidar Hanssen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jostein Skauge came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Brimnes BK's Finn Lundberg. But to his dismay, Finn Lundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Jostein Skauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Finn Lundberg in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ludvig Sikveland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jostein Skauge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mikkel Bremnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Melbye having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brimnes BK's Daniel Bruland got a free kick in the 95th minute.
