Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Espen Buene started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Thomas Odland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER CITY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bleikvasslia IF the free kick. In the 6th match minute, RIVER CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Odland to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, RIVER CITY's goalkeeper Max Thomassen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolai Selnes. Espen Buene took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torkel Eikemo. Torkel Eikemo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. RIVER CITY's Espen Buene got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Johan Stølen in the 18th minute of play forced RIVER CITY's goalkeeper Max Thomassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Johan Stølen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Max Thomassen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Thomassen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, RIVER CITY's goalkeeper Max Thomassen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolai Selnes. Torkel Eikemo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espen Buene, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, RIVER CITY's Espen Buene nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torkel Eikemo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Halvard Andreassen made a kick off. Torkel Eikemo was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Henrik Folkvord capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Folkvord really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Espen Buene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Henrik Folkvord recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torkel Eikemo. Henrik Folkvord showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espen Buene in the 79th minute of play forced Bleikvasslia IF's goalkeeper Torkel Eikemo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halvard Andreassen in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Thomassen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Max Thomassen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halvard Andreassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torkel Eikemo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espen Buene in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Alfred Mikalsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bleikvasslia IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Mikalsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Bleikvasslia IF's Roald Erstad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Thomassen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Arve Thorgersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RIVER CITY walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
