Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bolga FF's Arvid Gregersen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Gregersen in the 4th minute of play forced Stabben's goalkeeper John Pollestad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Truls Reksten during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, one of Stabben:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stabben. Arvid Bjørlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Martin Selle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Stabben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Rabben to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Stabben defense, Arvid Gregersen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Pollestad. The Stabben fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Pollestad should have stopped the shot. Arvid Gregersen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Arvid Gregersen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kasper Godø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. John Pollestad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Støa charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukas Støa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stabben's Lukas Støa got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stabben's zone, Kasper Godø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Pollestad came out of the goal and Kasper Godø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvid Gregersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. John Pollestad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arvid Bjørlo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Stabben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Bjørlo couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Arvid Bjørlo made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Bolga FF's John Pollestad threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arvid Gregersen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. John Pollestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Gregersen in the 57th minute of play. Martin Selle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mons Tangerud went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mons Tangerud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arvid Gregersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Pollestad having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bolga FF's zone, Terje Mæhle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Selle came out of the goal and Terje Mæhle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvid Bjørlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Selle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mons Tangerud, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
