If Patrik Gjertsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes 4Ever United got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Andresen. Edgard Zakariassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Steinar Garvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Oliver Mannes in the 22nd minute really tested Steinar Garvik's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Patrik Gjertsen scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steinar Garvik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Edvard Aspelund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The corner led WARSAINTS's Karsten Isdahl to fire away a dangerous shot which Steinar Garvik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Edvard Aspelund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Steinar Garvik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Gjertsen was the one to do the kick off. 4Ever United's Steinar Garvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Dyrhaug in the 53rd minute of play. Steinar Garvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Eidissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christer Thøgersen fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 4Ever United's protests and gave Christer Thøgersen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of WARSAINTS booed when 4Ever United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Thøgersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Ulleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Nicholas Eidissen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. WARSAINTS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
