Spectators: 7362 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Selle took the kick off in the first half of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Segalstad BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Torvald Helle in the 11th minute of play forced Segalstad BF's goalkeeper Gjermund Sundseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Trøan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17th play minutes Christoffer Nordhaug shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Trond Birkenes and just under the crossbar into goal. Selemo's Trond Birkenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Selle in the 26th minute of play. David Trøan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gjermund Sundseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Segalstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Kjærstad. In the 41st match minute, Segalstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Erik Walberg to maneuver through the defense. Stig Øygarden took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gjermund Sundseth. Gjermund Sundseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Selemo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torvald Helle to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Selemo's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Selle came free, but Trond Birkenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Segalstad BF booed when Selemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Skau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torvald Helle in the 62nd minute of play forced Segalstad BF's goalkeeper Gjermund Sundseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segalstad BF's Gjermund Sundseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torvald Helle in the 64th minute of play. Segalstad BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Torvald Helle scored to the left of an out of position Gjermund Sundseth, making the score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torvald Helle in the 71st minute of play forced Segalstad BF's goalkeeper Gjermund Sundseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torvald Helle struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gjermund Sundseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selemo. Segalstad BF's Christoffer Nordhaug got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trond Birkenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Selle in the 84th minute of play. Christoffer Nordhaug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoffer Nordhaug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hans Skau came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Selemo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Skau couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Selemo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
