Krister Dalby struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Max Kvilhaug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Joga Bonito. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Reidar Fjeldstad took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Max Kvilhaug to make any attempt to save it. Carl Bore's late challenge caught a Club Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Bore helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rækvik FF's Carl Bore got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jan-Ivar Berstad succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 23rd playminute. In the 26th minute, Fredrik Reed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoffer Rodal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Remøy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Christoffer Rodal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Reed in the 36th minute of play forced Club Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Christoffer Rodal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Jesper Remøy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Joga Bonito's Christoffer Rodal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rækvik FF's zone, Reidar Fjeldstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Kvilhaug came out of the goal and Reidar Fjeldstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reidar Fjeldstad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Reidar Fjeldstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Kvilhaug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reidar Fjeldstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kjartan Wiik's late challenge caught a Club Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjartan Wiik helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Rækvik FF got a freekick which was hit by Kjartan Wiik. In the 66th minute, Jonathan Nerheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Joga Bonito's Christoffer Rodal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Reed in the 69th minute of play. Christoffer Rodal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Reed in the 71st minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Rækvik FF's Fredrik Reed nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Rodal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesper Remøy got free with Christoffer Rodal in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Karsten Ytterstad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Joga Bonito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rækvik FF the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Club Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Ytterstad to maneuver through the defense. 4-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Reidar Fjeldstad elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fredrik Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Club Joga Bonito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jesper Remøy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fredrik Reed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rækvik FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
