Joachim Østgård stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ole Kristian Igland's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Remi Olberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelius Friestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Junkerdalen BK's Daniel Olden got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Junkerdalen BK's Joachim Østgård got control of the ball when Ole Kristian Igland tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Ole Kristian Igland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lykkefisken IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junkerdalen BK the free kick. A collision led to Lykkefisken IF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ole Kristian Igland hit a great ball. If Ole Kristian Igland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lykkefisken IF's Ole Kristian Igland got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ole Kristian Igland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Joachim Østgård made a huge save. Junkerdalen BK's Joachim Østgård proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Junkerdalen BK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ole Kristian Igland got free with Joachim Østgård in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ole Kristian Igland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lykkefisken IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ole Kristian Igland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Østgård breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Kirkeby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ole Kristian Igland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Østgård was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 46th minute, Junkerdalen BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ole Kristian Igland fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Harald Schrøder fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junkerdalen BK's protests and gave Harald Schrøder a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Junkerdalen BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Junkerdalen BK defense, Ole Kristian Igland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Østgård. The Junkerdalen BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Østgård should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Ole Kristian Igland notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Junkerdalen BK's Joachim Østgård. Joachim Østgård was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornelius Friestad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ole Kristian Igland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Østgård stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ole Kristian Igland's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Junkerdalen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ole Kristian Igland came free, but Joachim Østgård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Cornelius Friestad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ole Kristian Igland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Dan Kirkeby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lykkefisken IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
