Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harald Schrøder started the match with the kick off. When Kim Aanensen came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Forrfjord fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Aanensen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, Cornelius Friestad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junkerdalen BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelius Friestad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fridtjof Olsen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cornelius Friestad sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Forrfjord's Peter Nordskog got a free kick in the 16th minute. Cornelius Friestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kim Aanensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Junkerdalen BK's Cornelius Friestad got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peder Bryhn's late challenge caught a Junkerdalen BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Østgård stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Kenneth Aamodt's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jan-Kenneth Aamodt made the kick off in the second half. Cornelius Friestad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fridtjof Olsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Aanensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Østgård having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Junkerdalen BK's Mads Bratvold got a free kick in the 60th minute. Joachim Østgård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Aamodt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Friestad in the 67th minute of play forced Forrfjord's goalkeeper Fridtjof Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, one of Junkerdalen BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Junkerdalen BK. Joachim Østgård had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Peter Nordskog's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Forrfjord's Kim Aanensen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jan-Kenneth Aamodt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
