The audience was convinced that Ronny Stensby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fridtjof Olsen was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Forrfjord's goalkeeper Fridtjof Olsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Nergaard. When Ronny Stensby in the 37th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Fridtjof Olsen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 43 minutes into the match, Forrfjord's goalkeeper Fridtjof Olsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Nergaard. Ronny Stensby took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fridtjof Olsen. Fridtjof Olsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronny Stensby to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ronny Stensby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Fridtjof Olsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Mikael Nergaard made a precise shot to the right of Fridtjof Olsen. The supporters of Braemdsund booed when Forrfjord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Torp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fridtjof Olsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Nergaard in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ronny Stensby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braemdsund's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Stensby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fridtjof Olsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Braemdsund fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Braemdsund's Mikael Nergaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
