Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tord Brænden started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor Nordeng during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Sandøyra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Nordeng to maneuver through the defense. Idar Grytten charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Idar Grytten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Idar Grytten hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Braathen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Truls Wie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Truls Wie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Brænden, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Truls Wie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Brænden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Kristoffer Braathen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tord Brænden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Truls Wie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Kristian Vikane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Erdal went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 28 minutes, Kristoffer Braathen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Råna BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristoffer Braathen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Truls Wie made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Kristoffer Braathen sent off a good shot on target. Sandøyra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Tord Brænden scored to the left of an out of position Truls Wie, making the score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tor-Andre Mundal made the kick off in the second half. If Tord Brænden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Arnstein Torsvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Råna BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandøyra the free kick. Truls Wie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Brænden in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Lars Sollid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandøyra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råna BF the free kick. A collision led to Sandøyra getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lars Sollid hit a great ball. Lars Sollid kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Braathen in the 70th minute of play forced Sandøyra's goalkeeper Truls Wie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sandøyra's zone, Kristoffer Braathen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Truls Wie came out of the goal and Kristoffer Braathen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Truls Wie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Brænden in the 74th minute of the match. Truls Wie came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Råna BF's Kristoffer Braathen. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Braathen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Tor-Andre Mundal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Råna BF's goalkeeper Hans-Kristian Vikane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anders Erdal. Lars Sollid got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th minute, Lars Sollid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristoffer Braathen in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Truls Wie saved Sandøyra from getting behind. Anders Erdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Kristian Vikane having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Sandøyra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Idar Grytten to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Råna BF's Tor Fossdal tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sandøyra's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
