Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Grinden started the match with the kick off. Gunnar Hallan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Andre Mundal, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Jo Dyrhaug scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Truls Wie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Tor-Andre Mundal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Anders Erdal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandøyra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FFK the free kick. In the 13th minute, Anders Erdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Erdal in the 17th minute of play forced FFK's goalkeeper Gunnar Hallan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FFK's zone, Tor-Andre Mundal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Hallan came out of the goal and Tor-Andre Mundal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Rolstad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunnar Hallan. FFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gunnar Hallan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Andre Mundal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sandøyra's zone, Sebastian Grinden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Truls Wie came out of the goal and Sebastian Grinden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jo Dyrhaug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Truls Wie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tor-Andre Mundal to make the kick off. Jo Dyrhaug struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Truls Wie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FFK. After a defensive mix-up in FFK's zone, Tor-Andre Mundal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Hallan came out of the goal and Tor-Andre Mundal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Tor-Andre Mundal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Hallan. FFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor-Andre Mundal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, FFK's Hugo Skjønhaug got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gunnar Hallan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Andre Mundal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Andre Mundal in the 76th minute of play forced FFK's goalkeeper Gunnar Hallan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Erdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Hallan having to interfere. When Jo Dyrhaug came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jo Dyrhaug couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Sebastian Grinden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Grinden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sandøyra getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Idar Grytten hit a great ball. Sebastian Grinden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Bent Nissen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandøyra the free kick. After 92 played minutes FFK got a freekick which was hit by Bent Nissen. After 95 played minutes FFK got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Skjønhaug. Anders Erdal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 96th playminute. The FFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sandøyra's performance. The match ended with a win for Sandøyra.
