In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sørebø BK's goalkeeper Linus Skotnes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of GIF Sundsvall booed when Sørebø BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Hegre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Gudmundsen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Linus Skotnes firmly grabbed it by the left post. GIF Sundsvall's Sverre Lilleng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Odden in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Sørebø BK's goalkeeper Linus Skotnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Gudmundsen. 43 minutes into the match, Sørebø BK's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Klepp came free, but Linus Skotnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GIF Sundsvall booed when Sørebø BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svend Negård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Klepp to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Odden in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sverre Lilleng saved GIF Sundsvall from getting behind. Daniel Odden might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverre Lilleng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Odden ran back to his position shaking his head. GIF Sundsvall's Lars-Olav Folkvord got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Lars-Olav Folkvord off the ground. A collision led to GIF Sundsvall getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lars-Olav Folkvord hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Odden in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sverre Lilleng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, GIF Sundsvall's Martin Klepp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Linus Skotnes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kim Gudmundsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Skotnes having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, Sørebø BK's Jonathan Sjåvik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverre Lilleng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Klepp struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Linus Skotnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GIF Sundsvall. Linus Skotnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Gudmundsen in the 84th minute of play. GIF Sundsvall's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Daniel Odden scored to the left of an out of position Sverre Lilleng, making the score, 1-2.
