Torjus Ranheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Kent-Are Knutsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Løvdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarjei Staff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Martin Løvdal came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Gjeving FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Løvdal couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Gjeving FF's Balder Bjørnstad got control of the ball when Alf Natland tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Kent-Are Knutsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gjeving FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arnefjord the free kick. 39 minutes into the match, Gjeving FF's goalkeeper Balder Bjørnstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Natland.
