Spectators: 7485 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 135) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jon Bakke kicked off to start the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Morten Soltveit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beyene FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morten Soltveit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morten Soltveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Thøgersen got free with Jesper Larsen in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Tim Thøgersen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jesper Larsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Morten Soltveit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesper Larsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Soltveit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Tim Thøgersen could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Jesper Larsen however easily saved by the left post. Jesper Larsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Soltveit, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jesper Larsen made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tim Thøgersen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Beyene FC booed when Aremark IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Muren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagfinn Størseth charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagfinn Størseth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Dagfinn Størseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beyene FC's Sigurd Nystuen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didrik Ahlsen in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Aremark IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Muren to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Beyene FC's Dagfinn Størseth got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Morten Soltveit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesper Larsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morten Soltveit went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jesper Larsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morten Soltveit in the 61st minute of the match. Morten Soltveit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jesper Larsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morten Soltveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sture Krogh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morten Soltveit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Larsen having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aremark IF defense, Tim Thøgersen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesper Larsen. The Aremark IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Larsen should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Morten Soltveit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesper Larsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Jesper Larsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Soltveit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Beyene FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Morten Soltveit hit a great ball. Tim Thøgersen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aremark IF's zone, Morten Soltveit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesper Larsen came out of the goal and Morten Soltveit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tim Thøgersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morten Soltveit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jesper Larsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesper Larsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Soltveit in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Beyene FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
