An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Eldevik in the 13th minute of play forced Oslo Patriots's goalkeeper Theodor Omdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Johannes Shala sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oslo Patriots's Theodor Omdal didn't even have to move. 23 minutes into the match, Oslo Patriots's Pål Bergesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakob Dalene narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remi Dybvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jakob Eldevik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Jon-Inge Ugland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stongarvaag BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oslo Patriots the free kick. After 39 played minutes Stongarvaag BK got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Inge Ugland. After having played for 46 minutes, Pål Bergesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oslo Patriots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Bergesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Stongarvaag BK's Jakob Eldevik in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oslo Patriots's goalie prevented a goal. Jakob Eldevik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Omdal having to interfere. Theodor Omdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roald Øyen in the 63rd minute of play. Theodor Omdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roald Øyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Theodor Omdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Eldevik's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Oslo Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Herman Haug. Johannes Shala didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 89thth minute of the game Jakob Eldevik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oslo Patriots's Theodor Omdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
