Tor-Ivar Askeland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remi Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åge Flatås in the 12th minute of the match. Håkon Haukaas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gisløy getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Andreas Hareide hit a great ball. If Åge Flatås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hans Sandvold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkon Haukaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkon Haukaas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Berg having to interfere. Oscar Bastiansen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Håkon Haukaas struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Remi Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austborg BK. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åge Flatås to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Åge Flatås got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th play minute Håkon Haukaas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Remi Berg. 0-3. Håkon Haukaas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Remi Berg made a huge save. Remi Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åge Flatås in the 60th minute of the match. Håkon Haukaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Remi Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Åge Flatås put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Remi Berg. In the 67th minute Hans Sandvold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Høiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remi Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åge Flatås in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åge Flatås in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remi Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Austborg BK fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Austborg BK's Åge Flatås looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Håkon Haukaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Åge Flatås recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remi Berg. Åge Flatås showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Remi Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åge Flatås in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Åge Flatås kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remi Berg. That made the score 0-7 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Austborg BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gisløy throughout the match.
