With a little luck, Karnes IL's Andreas Høyvik got control of the ball when Christoffer Dehli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gloppen IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Bjørnevik in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Henrik Bjørnevik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Høyvik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Karnes IL's Jørn Abrahamsen got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gloppen IF's Henrik Bjørnevik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Andreas Høyvik but with some difficulty. 20 minutes into the match, Karnes IL's goalkeeper Andreas Høyvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rasmus Ryen. Andreas Høyvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Ryen in the 21st minute of the match. If Rasmus Ryen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gloppen IF's Rasmus Ryen in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karnes IL's goalie prevented a goal. Jo Sandersen charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jo Sandersen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Karnes IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Sandersen to maneuver through the defense. Gloppen IF's Erik Dammen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Tande in the 37th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Gloppen IF's Andreas Høyvik threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christoffer Dehli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Karnes IL's Andreas Høyvik got control of the ball when Rasmus Ryen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rasmus Ryen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tor-Kristian Slåen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andreas Høyvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Aurstad made a kick off. The Gloppen IF fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Gloppen IF's Rasmus Ryen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 60 minutes, Rasmus Ryen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gloppen IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasmus Ryen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andreas Høyvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Ryen in the 63rd minute of the match. Andreas Høyvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Ryen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Høyvik came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Gloppen IF's Rasmus Ryen. But to his dismay, Rasmus Ryen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Karnes IL's Andreas Høyvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Ryen in the 73rd minute of play. Andreas Høyvik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasmus Ryen's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasmus Ryen in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Høyvik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Christoffer Dehli put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andreas Høyvik. If Rasmus Ryen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Høyvik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Dehli went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gloppen IF had played much better football throughout.
