When Gjermund Buvarp came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Karnes IL fans jumped to their feet. With his leg Ruben Stenstad managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Karnes IL's Erland Aurstad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Kråkfjord BK's Georg Storøy got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ruben Fossan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kråkfjord BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Fossan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Høyvik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute Magne Hildrum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Høyvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kråkfjord BK's Ruben Stenstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Kråkfjord BK from getting a goal against them. Ruben Stenstad came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Karnes IL's Jo Sandersen. But to his dismay, Jo Sandersen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ruben Fossan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Magne Hildrum made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Karnes IL's Andreas Høyvik got control of the ball when Magne Hildrum tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Kråkfjord BK's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Aurstad came free, but Ruben Stenstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Tor-Egil Hetland put in a rough tackle. In the 57th minute, Tor-Egil Hetland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Stenstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Aurstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Arvid Lindstrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruben Fossan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Andreas Høyvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Karnes IL's Jo Sandersen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Ruben Fossan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Karnes IL's Linus Larsen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kråkfjord BK's Ruben Fossan got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Karnes IL's Erland Aurstad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Stenstad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Andreas Høyvik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Eriksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Ruben Fossan fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kråkfjord BK's protests and gave Ruben Fossan a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Kråkfjord BK got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Fossan. Ruben Stenstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Lindstrøm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Konradsen in the 87th minute of play forced Kråkfjord BK's goalkeeper Ruben Stenstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Tor-Andre Ottem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karnes IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kråkfjord BK the free kick. After 95 played minutes Kråkfjord BK got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Fossan. When the referee ended the match the Karnes IL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
