The supporters of meldaliona 47BK booed when Steilene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aslak Knudsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Steilene's Trygve Olstad made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Flaten was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Morten Kommedal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Flaten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Henningsen couldn't finish the play. After taking down the ball on meldaliona 47BK's corner Richard Grorud fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christer Østvik quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
