Tormod Vestvik struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Markus Grødem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drammen Saints FC. Drammen Saints FC's Lars-Erik Myklebost got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match Erik Bøe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Grødem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Morten Wøien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blaker Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drammen Saints FC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Morten Wøien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tormod Vestvik took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Grødem. Markus Grødem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Tormod Vestvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Tormod Vestvik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blaker Fc's Markus Grødem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drammen Saints FC were furious when Ulf-Hendrik Emilsen was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 34th match minute, Drammen Saints FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf-Hendrik Emilsen to maneuver through the defense. Markus Grødem was a little too slow when Tormod Vestvik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Drammen Saints FC's Jan-Arne Alsvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Øvretveit in the 55th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Markus Grødem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henrik Stormyr made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Drammen Saints FC's Carl Hanssen. Tormod Vestvik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Grødem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Tormod Vestvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaker Fc's Markus Grødem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Blaker Fc from getting a goal against them. When Iver Jelstad fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blaker Fc's protests and gave Iver Jelstad a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Iver Jelstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Grødem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tormod Vestvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Markus Grødem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tormod Vestvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tormod Vestvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drammen Saints FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tormod Vestvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Grødem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drammen Saints FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
