Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henrik Jønsson got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Henrik Jønsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jo Røen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Trond Granly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hans-Kristian Roald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Eiksund's Henrik Jønsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jo Røen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Awesome FC's zone, Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jo Røen came out of the goal and Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Jønsson struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jo Røen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eiksund. When Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Eiksund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes couldn't finish the play. If Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jo Røen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrik Jønsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Røen having to interfere. Jo Røen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Salbu's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Eiksund's Henrik Jønsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Røen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Awesome FC's Trond Granly got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Trond Granly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Awesome FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trond Granly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Trond Granly to strike the kick off in the second half. Henrik Jønsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes had several of the Awesome FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Jo Røen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Trond Granly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hans-Kristian Roald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Awesome FC's goalkeeper Jo Røen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes. 67 minutes into the match, Eiksund's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Bui came free, but Hans-Kristian Roald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes in the game, Henrik Jønsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jo Røen having to interfere. 0-5 became the score in the 71st minute when Ole-Gunnar Gjønnes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Awesome FC's goalkeeper Jo Røen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Eiksund booed when Awesome FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Haugum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eiksund's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
