The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon-Inge Hopland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nils Skauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Sanne in the 14th minute of the match. If Arild Honningsvåg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Skauge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ken Sanne put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nils Skauge. The supporters of Dual Monkeys booed when Havstad FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken Sanne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ådne Sommerstad struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jon-Inge Hopland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dual Monkeys. When Andreas Salbu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. Andreas Salbu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krister Buvik to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Albertsen hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arild Honningsvåg got free with Nils Skauge in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arild Honningsvåg in the 63rd minute of play forced Dual Monkeys's goalkeeper Nils Skauge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arild Honningsvåg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Dual Monkeys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arild Honningsvåg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Havstad FF played a much better game than Dual Monkeys and deserved their victory. The Dual Monkeys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
