The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Champions FA booed when Gallia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Espen Nordberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steinar Nesje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Røyrvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Champions FA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan-Ivar Bui fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Laurits Bøen was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Jan-Ivar Bui capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Ivar Bui really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jan-Ivar Bui received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurits Bøen came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Ivar Bui slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute, Champions FA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bjørn Marcussen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan-Ivar Bui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurits Bøen having to interfere. Magne Røyrvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Steinar Nesje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Espen Nordberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Champions FA's Jim Georgsen tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Jan-Ivar Bui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ivar Bui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Ivar Bui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arild Kvam kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Champions FA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Bru was slow to take the kick. During this time Gallia FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gallia FC's Martin Bru to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurits Bøen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Ivar Bui made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Espen Nordberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gallia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 57th minute, Champions FA's Cornelius Lillegård ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Steinar Nesje. Steinar Nesje yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 61st minute, Magne Røyrvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Tangstad in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurits Bøen saved Champions FA from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Jan-Ivar Bui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurits Bøen was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Jan-Ivar Bui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurits Bøen having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Jan-Ivar Bui made a precise shot to the right of Laurits Bøen. Champions FA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jan-Ivar Bui scored 6-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurits Bøen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cornelius Lillegård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
