Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Kristian Meisingset started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Cornelius Lillegård got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magne Røyrvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ståle Barstad having to interfere. Champions FA's Magne Røyrvik got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Urke kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ståle Barstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelius Lillegård in the 28th minute of the match. Cornelius Lillegård kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Selbekken's Ståle Barstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Selbekken from getting a goal against them. Kristian Meisingset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurits Bøen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Meisingset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Endre Hoseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelius Lillegård made a kick off. Magne Røyrvik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute Magne Røyrvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ståle Barstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Endre Hoseth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornelius Lillegård received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ståle Barstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Selbekken's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelius Lillegård came free, but Ståle Barstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Champions FA's Jim Georgsen got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute Selbekken were awarded a corner. Mats Helliesen went to the cornerflag to take it. Selbekken's Mats Helliesen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laurits Bøen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Endre Hoseth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Laurits Bøen made a huge save. In the 81st minute Cornelius Lillegård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ståle Barstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelius Lillegård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ståle Barstad having to interfere. After some careless play in the Selbekken defense, Magne Røyrvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ståle Barstad. The Selbekken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ståle Barstad should have stopped the shot.
