Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Odd-Eirik Paus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Christian Finsrud made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tor Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauane's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Roland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finn-Christian Skauge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Finsrud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Ringstad in the 8th minute of play. Oddvar Liland took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Finn-Christian Skauge. Finn-Christian Skauge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Runar Tønnesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Finsrud having to interfere. If Kristoffer Ringstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lerviken's Runar Tønnesen got a free kick in the 19th minute. Oddvar Liland scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Finn-Christian Skauge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oddvar Liland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32ndth minute of the game Tor Roland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lerviken's Finn-Christian Skauge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Frode Heggem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Finsrud stood somewhat misplaced when Kristoffer Ringstad came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Lerviken's Finn-Christian Skauge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oddvar Liland in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Tor Roland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Finn-Christian Skauge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristoffer Ringstad to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Oddvar Liland from a close distance when the talented Finn-Christian Skauge managed to make a qualified save. Lerviken's players were relieved. Finn-Christian Skauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oddvar Liland in the 55th minute. If Tor Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Sauane got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Einan. Frode Heggem's late challenge caught a Lerviken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frode Heggem helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Frode Heggem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjarne Jørstad was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kristoffer Ringstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christian Finsrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lerviken booed when Sauane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Sandbakken didn't get a good kick on the ball.
