Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tor Roland started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Sebastian Tonheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauane and the Vikjorden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Sebastian Tonheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sauane getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sebastian Tonheim hit a great ball. Kjetil Arnesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Finsrud having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Roland in the 12th minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Oddvar Liland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Asmund Ødegård. Vikjorden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oddvar Liland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Asmund Ødegård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Christian Finsrud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen in the 25th minute of play. Christian Finsrud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brage Sandvoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Finsrud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjetil Arnesen's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Frode Heggem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Asmund Ødegård made a huge save. Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Vikjorden from getting a goal against them. Vikjorden's Morten Sørmo has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjetil Arnesen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Sauane's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Morten Sørmo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vikjorden's corner Morten Sørmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Finsrud quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goal looked a bit too open when Oddvar Liland came free, but Asmund Ødegård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sauane booed when Vikjorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Røe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morten Sørmo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, Sauane's Sebastian Sandbakken shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sauane reached it. A collision led to Sauane getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sebastian Tonheim hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, Sauane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Tonheim to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes Sauane's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Morten Sørmo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vikjorden's corner Morten Sørmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Finsrud quite easily take care of the ball. Brage Sandvoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Christian Finsrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sauane's zone, Brage Sandvoll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Finsrud came out of the goal and Brage Sandvoll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Kjetil Arnesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjetil Arnesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Christian Finsrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sauane's Sebastian Tonheim got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Vikjorden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Røe to maneuver through the defense. Tor Roland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Asmund Ødegård tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Arnesen in the 95th minute of play forced Sauane's goalkeeper Christian Finsrud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sauane had won after a very even match.
