Raagrend IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krenket FK the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mikkel Øvergård managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raagrend IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Øvergård was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Børseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Daniel Bugten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ivar Helliesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikkel Øvergård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Børseth having to interfere. Inge Børseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikkel Øvergård went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Mikkel Øvergård's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Børseth was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Krenket FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
