The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gunnar Dyrseth took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Lars Teigland from a close distance when the talented Kevin Størseth managed to make a qualified save. Søråa's players were relieved. Kevin Størseth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Teigland's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Teigland in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Størseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Skretteberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Lars Teigland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevin Størseth. Lars Teigland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Christian Skretteberg struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kevin Størseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundheim FK. Kevin Størseth was a little too slow when Lars Teigland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 23rd match minute, Mundheim FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Kallestad to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Jakob Tonheim made a precise shot to the right of Mikkel Refseth. Mundheim FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 35 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Aarsland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Søråa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mundheim FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Søråa's Kristoffer Aarsland got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Lars Teigland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kevin Størseth, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Teigland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mundheim FK's Tom Aasberg got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 52 minutes, Christer Michalsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Søråa and the Mundheim FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christer Michalsen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Kevin Størseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Teigland in the 60th minute of the match. Arnoldo Calero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 minutes, Lars Teigland made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Søråa's Kevin Størseth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Teigland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Størseth having to make a save. After 69 played minutes Søråa got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Dyrseth. After having played for 70 minutes, Thorbjørn Hauan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mundheim FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorbjørn Hauan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jakob Tonheim fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Søråa's protests and gave Jakob Tonheim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Jakob Tonheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Skretteberg struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kevin Størseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundheim FK. After 77 played minutes, Mundheim FK's Alpertunga Salik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevin Størseth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mundheim FK reached it. In the 78th minute Lars Teigland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Størseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Lars Teigland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Søråa's Kevin Størseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Størseth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Teigland's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Kevin Størseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Skretteberg went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Teigland in the 91st minute of play forced Søråa's goalkeeper Kevin Størseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mundheim FK's Lars Teigland in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Søråa's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Søråa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gunnar Dyrseth hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mundheim FK had played much better football throughout.
