In the 2nd match minute, Mineberget MZK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Brandvold to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Teigland in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ståle Bugten saved Mineberget MZK from getting behind. Ståle Bugten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Teigland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mineberget MZK's zone, Tom Aasberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ståle Bugten came out of the goal and Tom Aasberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Lars Teigland from a close distance when the talented Ståle Bugten managed to make a qualified save. Mineberget MZK's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Martin Thorvaldsen made a precise shot to the right of Mikkel Refseth. Mundheim FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 28 played minutes Mineberget MZK got a freekick which was hit by Asgeir Salberg. 29 minutes into the match, Mineberget MZK's goalkeeper Ståle Bugten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alpertunga Salik. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Aasberg got free with Ståle Bugten in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ståle Bugten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Teigland in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lars Teigland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ståle Bugten was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asgeir Salberg during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Teigland in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ståle Bugten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mineberget MZK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Martin Thorvaldsen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Lars Teigland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mundheim FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Teigland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ståle Bugten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torvald Amdal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lars Teigland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mineberget MZK's Ståle Bugten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite this Ståle Bugten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Lars Teigland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Teigland in the 78th minute of play forced Mineberget MZK's goalkeeper Ståle Bugten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Aasberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ståle Bugten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Mundheim FK's Tom Aasberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ståle Bugten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
