Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomas Pettersen kicked off to start the match. Rikard Brastad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ståle Bugten made a huge save. Hans Molvik kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Thomas Pettersen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ole-Petter Løver having to make a save. Ole-Gunnar Jansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Petter Løver having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Ole-Gunnar Jansen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ståle Bugten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Håheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ståle Bugten made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Rikard Brastad sent off a good shot on target. Ståle Bugten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Håheim in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Pettersen in the 31st minute of play forced Åsmundvåg's goalkeeper Ole-Petter Løver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nikolai Austnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsmundvåg's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolai Austnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ståle Bugten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rikard Brastad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ståle Bugten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ståle Bugten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikard Brastad in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Daniel Håheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ståle Bugten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Pettersen in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole-Petter Løver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ole-Gunnar Jansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ole-Petter Løver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Omland's late challenge caught a Åsmundvåg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Omland helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Mineberget MZK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Omland to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th minute Daniel Håheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ståle Bugten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Martin Thorvaldsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Håheim in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ståle Bugten saved Mineberget MZK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ole-Gunnar Jansen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ole-Petter Løver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, one of Åsmundvåg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åsmundvåg. Ole-Petter Løver had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Arvid Skåra's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ole-Petter Løver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Pettersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rikard Brastad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ståle Bugten having to interfere. Ståle Bugten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Håheim in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Håheim in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ståle Bugten saved Mineberget MZK from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Åsmundvåg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Åsmundvåg:s Ole-Petter Løver showed great skill when he stopped Arvid Skåra:s penalty. A collision led to Mineberget MZK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Torvald Amdal hit a great ball. Rikard Brastad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ståle Bugten having to make a save. If Rikard Brastad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olaf Kvale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ståle Bugten having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
