An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Sørnes in the 25th minute of play forced bare fremover's goalkeeper Carl Torbjørnsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehammar's Pål Nybråten got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Mehammar's Pål Nybråten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Torbjørnsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Mehammar's Kenneth Sørnes got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kim Øye managed to get in a good position for a shot. bare fremover's supporters rose to their feet, but Kim Øye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sondre Sundal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 73 minutes into the game, Bjarne Blindheim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. bare fremover's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mehammar the free kick. The supporters of Mehammar booed when bare fremover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Blindheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper, Carl Torbjørnsen, was totally fooled by Mehammar's Edvin Utgård, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in bare fremover's zone, Kristian Muggerud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Torbjørnsen came out of the goal and Kristian Muggerud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pål Nybråten took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Torbjørnsen. Carl Torbjørnsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In the 85th minute Leon Nesheim suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Kenneth Sørnes got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th match minute, Mehammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Sørnes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of bare fremover booed when Mehammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Bruvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Sondre Sundal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Markussen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. If André Bruvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mehammar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
