Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) 3 minutes into the match, Cai Solevåg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stavanger's Tommy Tronstad. Tommy Tronstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Tronstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Fuglerud in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Alcohooligans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Trana to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Stavanger's zone, Petter Stava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Tronstad came out of the goal and Petter Stava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th match minute, Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Fosse to maneuver through the defense. Morten Sjøli hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Tommy Tronstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Bjørndalen in the 29th minute. The supporters of Stavanger booed when Alcohooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Fuglerud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Runar Fosse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Runar Fosse made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Thomas Uthus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stavanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Uthus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Alcohooligans getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rune Sandøy hit a great ball. Ove Trana charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Trana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stavanger's Runar Fosse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abraham Braaten. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. Tommy Tronstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Stava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Cai Solevåg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rune Sandøy got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Petter Stava. Runar Fosse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Cai Solevåg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Tronstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Alcohooligans got a freekick which was hit by Ove Trana. In the 95th minute, Thomas Uthus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abraham Braaten. The goal made the score 3-2.
