The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Alcohooligans's Petter Stava slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven Gjerdrum. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. If Petter Stava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Cai Solevåg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcohooligans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cai Solevåg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, valdres fk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Petter Stava fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cai Solevåg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Sven Gjerdrum skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alcohooligans's Fred Fuglerud managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeppe Midthun in the 29 minute of the game. Petter Stava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Gjerdrum made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Cai Solevåg sent off a good shot on target. Cai Solevåg in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven Gjerdrum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Petter Stava came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Alcohooligans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petter Stava couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cai Solevåg was the one to do the kick off. Sven Gjerdrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Stava in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute of the game Jeppe Midthun made a throw-in which Christoffer Øksnes played forward. Christoffer Øksnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Petter Stava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Gjerdrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fred Fuglerud fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcohooligans's protests and gave Fred Fuglerud a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Alcohooligans got a freekick which was hit by Fred Fuglerud. In the 81st minute Petter Stava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Gjerdrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Stava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Solevåg in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Gjerdrum saved valdres fk from getting behind. Sven Gjerdrum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Stava's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Asle Løvseth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Abraham Braaten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcohooligans were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of valdres fk for a fine match.
