Jøran Jordal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geir Dyrøy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Sigurd Moi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nørland FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigurd Moi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Sigurd Moi made a precise shot to the right of Jøran Jordal. Gjermundnes BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jøran Jordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birk Hodne in the 29th minute of play. Sigurd Moi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gjermundnes BF's zone, Sigurd Moi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jøran Jordal came out of the goal and Sigurd Moi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sigurd Moi was the one to do the kick off. Geir Dyrøy struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jøran Jordal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nørland FF. Birk Hodne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jøran Jordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Birk Hodne came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Nørland FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birk Hodne couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Birk Hodne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nørland FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Birk Hodne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jøran Jordal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sigurd Moi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Nørland FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
