Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Karlstad's Gjøran Bjørnerud got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th match minute, Karlstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gjermund Gulliksen to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Finne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Rong in the 11th minute of play forced Karlstad's goalkeeper Morten Markussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Rong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Barkåker FF's Patrik Skåre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Karlstad defense, Rolf Finne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Morten Markussen. The Karlstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Morten Markussen should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Petter Grønstad sped through Barkåker FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvard Hadland. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stian Eng in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Morten Markussen saved Karlstad from getting behind. Morten Markussen made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Rolf Finne sent off a good shot on target. Rolf Finne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Morten Markussen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Roald Nedrebø fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barkåker FF's protests and gave Roald Nedrebø a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Roald Nedrebø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Samuel Rong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Markussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolf Finne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morten Markussen having to make a save. Morten Markussen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Rong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Karlstad got a freekick which was hit by Are Ekerhovd. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Morten Markussen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petter Grønstad to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Rong in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Morten Markussen saved Karlstad from getting behind. Morten Markussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Rong in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Rolf Finne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlstad's Morten Markussen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Barkåker FF booed when Karlstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Are Ekerhovd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morten Markussen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Finne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karlstad's Morten Markussen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Rong in the 68th minute of play. Morten Markussen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Rong in the 69th minute of play. Rolf Finne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute Samuel Rong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Markussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Karlstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gjøran Bjørnerud to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Samuel Rong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Morten Markussen was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Samuel Rong struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Morten Markussen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barkåker FF. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arild Kjelsberg couldn't finish the play. Are Ekerhovd hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rolf Finne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 82 played minutes Karlstad got a freekick which was hit by Are Ekerhovd. Edvard Hadland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Grønstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barkåker FF's Roald Nedrebø got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Roald Nedrebø off the ground. Roald Nedrebø kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Petter Grønstad came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Karlstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petter Grønstad couldn't finish the play. Barkåker FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
