If Vebjørn Skogstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeppe Habbestad's late challenge caught a Vorland FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Le during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Reborn getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jon Opsahl hit a great ball. Reborn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reborn's Øystein Dale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frode Mørk in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Reborn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Frode Osen to maneuver through the defense. Vorland FK were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Reborn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon-Arne Østenstad took the corner. Øystein Dale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reborn's Jan-Frode Osen suffered a sore knee after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jon-Arne Østenstad fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorland FK's protests and gave Jon-Arne Østenstad a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Vorland FK got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Arne Østenstad. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Vebjørn Skogstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reborn's supporters rose to their feet, but Vebjørn Skogstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjetil Skeie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aleksander Le recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Reborn eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
