Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Preben Engelstad kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Mathiesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frode Mørk, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The Evjen fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Evjen's Eilert Torvund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 14 played minutes Vorland FK got a freekick which was hit by Sigve Teien. Kjetil Skeie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eilert Torvund in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vorland FK's Frode Mørk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Mathiesen. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vorland FK's goalkeeper Kjetil Skeie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kjell Johnsrud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Mathiesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vorland FK's Kjell Johnsrud suffered a sprained foot after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 29 minutes into the game, Ole-Petter Liseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evjen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vorland FK the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Evjen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Petter Liseth to maneuver through the defense. Vorland FK's Frode Mørk got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evjen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Frode Mørk 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Kjetil Skeie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eilert Torvund, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preben Engelstad in the 42nd minute of play forced Vorland FK's goalkeeper Kjetil Skeie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eilert Torvund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Frode Mørk made the kick off in the second half. Preben Engelstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjetil Skeie having to interfere. The supporters of Evjen booed when Vorland FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Le didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Preben Engelstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjetil Skeie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preben Engelstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjetil Skeie having to interfere. A hard shot 64 in the game by Eilert Torvund from a close distance when the talented Kjetil Skeie managed to make a qualified save. Vorland FK's players were relieved. Vorland FK's Kjetil Skeie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preben Engelstad in the 68th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Evjen's Kjetil Skeie threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Preben Engelstad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 74 played minutes Vorland FK got a freekick which was hit by Ståle Jordet. Eilert Torvund spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vorland FK's goal. After 77 minutes, Kent Paulsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Evjen and the Vorland FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vorland FK booed when Evjen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Paulsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eilert Torvund took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjetil Skeie. Kjetil Skeie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Kjetil Skeie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preben Engelstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vorland FK's Kjetil Skeie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Vorland FK from getting a goal against them. Preben Engelstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Le hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Evjen's Eilert Torvund got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evjen were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
