Max Øiestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bård Gravdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Selle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eirik Bartnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bård Gravdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Random Heroes IL getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ding Dong hit a great ball. Noah Hopen struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Kristian Mossige didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erlia IF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eirik Bartnes in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bård Gravdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eirik Bartnes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bård Gravdal. Bård Gravdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 20 played minutes, Random Heroes IL's Robert Myran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bård Gravdal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Random Heroes IL reached it. In the 21st minute Ivar Erikstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Mossige saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Eirik Bartnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bård Gravdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Noah Hopen in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristian Mossige, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the game, Random Heroes IL's Eirik Bartnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bård Gravdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Max Øiestad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Random Heroes IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Øiestad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bård Gravdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarle Erlandsen in the 38th minute of play forced Random Heroes IL's goalkeeper Kristian Mossige to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eirik Bartnes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bård Gravdal saved Erlia IF from getting behind. After 41 minutes of play, Random Heroes IL's Ding Dong made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bård Gravdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erlia IF's Bård Gravdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Myran in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Eirik Bartnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bård Gravdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Erlia IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Random Heroes IL were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarle Erlandsen to make the kick off. Eirik Bartnes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bård Gravdal came out and tried to block the shot, but Eirik Bartnes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Marius Nybakk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Øiestad might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bård Gravdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Øiestad ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Myran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Myran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Eirik Bartnes put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Bård Gravdal. Bård Gravdal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eirik Bartnes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 79 minute of play. Bård Gravdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eirik Bartnes in the 93rd minute of play. Random Heroes IL played a much better game than Erlia IF and deserved their victory. The Erlia IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
