Ronny Lyssand hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bjellånes BK's Balder Klemetsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jøran Løver. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. If David Natland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Lyssand charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Lyssand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Lyssand kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, David Natland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oddbjørn Straume was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brede Vollan was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Brede Vollan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 57th minute, Bjellånes BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brede Vollan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. David Natland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Oddbjørn Straume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Torkel Fossmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Bjellånes BK's goal looked a bit too open when Brede Vollan came free, but Oddbjørn Straume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Emanuel Tøsse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bjellånes BK's zone, Brede Vollan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oddbjørn Straume came out of the goal and Brede Vollan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Balder Klemetsen came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bjellånes BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balder Klemetsen couldn't finish the play. When Heimsnes FF's Brede Vollan in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bjellånes BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st match minute, Bjellånes BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Tøsse to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Ronny Lyssand made a precise shot to the right of Jøran Løver. Heimsnes FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jøran Løver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torkel Fossmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heimsnes FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
