Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mons Landro made the kick off which started today's match. Philip Lønne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jim-André Alvestad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strander's Jim-André Alvestad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mons Landro in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Mons Landro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim-André Alvestad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Endre Knarvik kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Strander got a freekick which was hit by Kjartan Pilskog. The supporters of Strander booed when Bårjåsnjárgga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Melsom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim-André Alvestad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mons Landro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjartan Pilskog during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjartan Pilskog hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Strander got a freekick which was hit by Endre Knarvik. Patrick Luk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Wikstrøm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Philip Lønne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bårjåsnjárgga's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Lønne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim-André Alvestad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bårjåsnjárgga's Mons Landro in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Strander's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Endre Knarvik during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Strander's Endre Knarvik got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Bårjåsnjárgga were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Philip Lønne got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 58 played minutes Strander got a freekick which was hit by Endre Knarvik. In the 60th minute, Asgeir Gjestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match Jan-Ivar Gjerløw sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Luk skillfully saved the ball. Endre Knarvik hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Philip Lønne might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim-André Alvestad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Lønne ran back to his position shaking his head. Jim-André Alvestad made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mons Landro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 72 minutes, Philip Lønne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bårjåsnjárgga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Lønne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bårjåsnjárgga made a substitution. Halvard Holum replaced Mons Landro. After having played for 75 minutes, Halvard Holum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bårjåsnjárgga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halvard Holum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Strander defense, Halvard Holum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim-André Alvestad. The Strander fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim-André Alvestad should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Philip Lønne fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jim-André Alvestad, passed just outside the right post. The nice shot from Halvard Holum in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jim-André Alvestad had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jim-André Alvestad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Lønne's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Jim-André Alvestad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halvard Holum in the 94th minute. Bårjåsnjárgga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
