Edvard Spolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Wikstrøm in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jørgen Tyldal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim-André Alvestad was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Steinar Digernes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 34 played minutes Strander got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Schjetne. Bernt Stave recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim-André Alvestad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jørgen Tyldal's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Sivert Wikstrøm made the kick off in the second half. Edvard Spolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vegard Nesset went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Edvard Spolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Wikstrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Club Quantum XI's Jørgen Tyldal in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jørgen Tyldal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Club Quantum XI fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Club Quantum XI's Jørgen Tyldal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Quantum XI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Strander had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
