Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ask Størseth got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sør-Roan BK's zone, Mikael Iqbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Benonisen came out of the goal and Mikael Iqbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Tore-Andre Hveem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Benonisen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ask Størseth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Eggan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ask Størseth in the 20th minute of play forced Beachboys BK's goalkeeper Christian Eggan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Holthe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Christian Eggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Eggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ask Størseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Eggan came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Sør-Roan BK's Rune Holthe. But to his dismay, Rune Holthe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Mikael Iqbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Rune Holthe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Christian Eggan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tore-Andre Hveem in the 43rd minute of play forced Sør-Roan BK's goalkeeper Harald Benonisen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tore-Andre Hveem made a kick off. Johannes Valderhaug hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tormod Kvilhaug during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beachboys BK's Christian Eggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ask Størseth in the 76th minute of play. If Tore-Andre Hveem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Rune Holthe made a precise shot to the right of Christian Eggan. Beachboys BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Rune Holthe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Christian Eggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beachboys BK's Christian Eggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ask Størseth in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Ask Størseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Eggan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Holthe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beachboys BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
