The supporters of Godtogblanda booed when Sire FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Sandli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Sire FF's goalkeeper Espen Bentsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joar Hebnes. Joar Hebnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Espen Bentsen made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sire FF's Tore Karlsen got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Kristian Grønn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godtogblanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Grønn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espen Bentsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristian Grønn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristian Grønn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Espen Bentsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Godtogblanda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ole-Martin Schou in the 15th minute. Ole-Martin Schou made a great header on Godtogblanda's corner, it was just that Sire FF's Espen Bentsen managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16th minute, Sire FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kristian Grønn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Grønn in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Espen Bentsen saved Sire FF from getting behind. Sire FF's Espen Bentsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sire FF from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Sverre Trana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Espen Bentsen. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Kristian Grønn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godtogblanda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sire FF the free kick. Espen Bentsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Grønn, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Fredrik Salvesen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joar Hebnes got free with Espen Bentsen in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristian Grønn to make the kick off. Tore Karlsen charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kristian Grønn took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Espen Bentsen. Espen Bentsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Sire FF's Espen Bentsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Grønn in the 87th minute of play. Fredrik Salvesen charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Salvesen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute Joar Hebnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Bentsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Godtogblanda fully deserved thier win.
