Erland Ryeng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Daniel Oppedal in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erland Ryeng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Ringdal to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Asgeir Jonsson managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Godtogblanda's Joar Hebnes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joar Hebnes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Asgeir Jonsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Kristian Grønn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asgeir Jonsson. Kristian Grønn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. If Joar Hebnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Grønn in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asgeir Jonsson saved Orkla FK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Joar Hebnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godtogblanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Joar Hebnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asgeir Jonsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 minutes of play, Orkla FK's Henrik Ringdal made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erland Ryeng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godtogblanda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
