Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Fjeldberg kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Kulseth in the 4th minute of play forced Kobrakameratene's goalkeeper Halvdan Smistad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vegard Fretheim charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vegard Fretheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stølsvigen booed when Kobrakameratene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vegard Fretheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Kulseth in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halvdan Smistad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Jon-Egil Solum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halvdan Smistad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ole Melbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Fjeldberg in the 21st minute of play. Martin Fjeldberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ole Melbye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lasse Molteberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Melbye having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Stølsvigen's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Fjeldberg came free, but Ole Melbye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vegard Fretheim was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 35 played minutes Kobrakameratene got a freekick which was hit by Vegard Fretheim. Joachim Kulseth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halvdan Smistad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Espen Vang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joachim Kulseth to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Joachim Kulseth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stølsvigen and the Kobrakameratene players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stølsvigen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Halvdan Smistad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Kulseth's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Lasse Molteberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole Melbye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lasse Molteberg in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Tor Winger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stølsvigen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobrakameratene the free kick. After 89 played minutes Stølsvigen got a freekick which was hit by Tor Winger. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stølsvigen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kobrakameratene had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
